* Build your own ship: Dreamstars allows players to fully customize their ships. When starting each level the player will be offered a list of ship parts. These parts include things like engines to allow more acceleration and lasers with which to shoot the enemy. Each part is randomly generated but they increase in efficiency as the game progresses. From this list the player must carefully choose the best parts that make full use of the space available in their ship and best suit their play style.

* Customization: In Dreamstars 3 you will be offered a range of basic ship hulls (the outside shell of a ship) each with very different properties and a different look and feel to make your game play even more unique.

* A little help: Dreamstars 3 adds another interesting element to game play in the form of friendly drones that can help the player to deal with particularly tricky situations. But you need to look out for these guys because you don’t get very many.

* Powerups: Some of the asteroids in Dreamstars contain blue powerup gems that will increase your energy and also give you new advanced ship part to use in the next level. Very rarely you may find a gold powerup inside an enemy drone. These will heal your hull as well as giving you energy and give you a super advanced part to add to your ship in the next level.

* Enemies: Dreamstars features a wide range of enemies, each made from a list of random components similar to your ship. This ensures that every enemy has a different configuration. Even the AI in Dreamstars has been given random properties to ensure that no two enemy drones will act exactly alike.

* Tec Tree: Dreamstars 3 allows the player to discover whole new types of ship parts as the game progresses. New weapons allow for whole new play styles while gaining new defensive technology gives the player a new lease of life in the higher levels.

* Scripting: Dreamstars 3 also gives the player access to a powerful scripting engine which can be used to create even more enemy drones and ship hull configurations to add almost infinite re-playability to Dreamstars.

* Two Player Mode: Dreamstars 3 also let’s you play with a friend in a fast paced two player cooperative mode. What better way could there be to enjoy spending time with someone you care about than banding together against the infinite waves of evil computer drones.
